You've accepted your admittance to the University of South Carolina. Now what?
All new USC students, including new transfer students, must attend a new student orientation session. You will meet with you academic advisor during orientation to choose courses for the upcoming semester and to register for classes. Use the resources below to ensure you are prepared for your orientation advisement session:
Chances are you will be bringing previous coursework with you to South Carolina. To help you complete your pre-orientation advising worksheet, you may want to use the resources below to see how your credit may be articulated on your USC transcript.
Any prior coursework previously submitted to USC will be reviewed and articulated onto your USC transcript. A Major Map is a layout of required courses in a given program of study, including a suggested course sequence, that ensures a clear path to graduation. To view your major map, search for your major in the Major Map Repository. Make sure you select the appropriate catalog year before searching (i.e. 2018-2019 for a student admitted during the 2018-2019 academic year).
