Our interdisciplinary biomedical engineering program is perfect for students who wish to enhance their education in both engineering and biological sciences to improve health care.

As a biomedical engineer, you will combine the innovation skills of engineering with medicine to imagine, initiate and invent new medical processes and products. You will participate in hands-on laboratory experience as well as research opportunities directed by world-leading experts.

What You’ll Study

Students are provided with a thorough foundation in mathematics, sciences and other engineering disciplines. Increased emphasis is placed upon the application of engineering principles to biological systems in your junior and senior years. You will also have the chance to engage in hands-on laboratory courses and a real-world design experience.
